William (Bill) Gee, M.Sc.
CEO and Director

William (Bill) GeeBill Gee has over thirty years of experience in the minerals business, with a strong background in business and corporate development, acquisitions, financial and technical evaluations, and strategic development and investment. Within the current atmosphere of the junior market, his broad experience in business development and strategic planning will be invaluable assets for Evolving Gold going forward.  Mr. Gee trained as a geologist, completing his graduate studies with an MS in Geology at the Colorado School of Mines, in Golden, Colorado. He has held positions in corporate development, business development, acquisitions and exploration within both major mining and junior exploration companies, such as Anaconda Copper, Newmont Mining, North Mining and Fronteer Development Group. 

Robert Barker, Ph.D.
Director

Dr Barker has spent 44 years in successful multi-commodity mining exploration, with 27 years in exploration and acquisition leadership. He has led exploration and acquisition programs in the USA, Canada, Australia and South America. Dr Barker spent the last 20 years in senior management positions, 14 years with Newcrest Resources, Inc. as General Manager, American Exploration. He has also held exploration leadership positions with Homestake Mining Co. and Amax, Inc. Dr Barker's long experience in evaluations of advanced and developmental projects, review of resource estimates and mine development plans is critical to Evolving Gold at this stage of its growth. Dr Barker has a PhD in Economic Geology from the University of California, Berkeley and is a Certified Professional Geologist, AIPG.

William (Bill) Majcher, BCom
Director

William (Bill) Majcher is Managing Director, International Business, Europe and Middle East for Baron International Limited, a Hong Kong based merchant bank. His background includes management, structured finance, emerging markets, strategic planning, and risk management. In his 20 year career with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Mr. Majcher achieved remarkable success in covert and public market investigations working with law enforcement and securities regulators from around the globe.



William F. Lindqvist, Ph.D
Director

Dr. Lindqvist has extensive exploration experience and has participated in discoveries around the world. He has spent his long and distinguished career primarily with Gold Fields Mining Corp and Homestake Mining Company (acquired by Barrick Gold Corporation in 2000). He is presently a director of Gallant Minerals Ltd, Plutonic Power Corporation, Uruguay Minerals Exploration Inc., Solomon Resources Inc. and EcuaGold Resources Inc. Dr. Lindqvist has a Ph.D in Applied Geology from the Royal School of Mines, London.



R. Bruce Duncan
Director

Mr. R. Bruce Duncan brings to the Evolving Gold Board nearly thirty years experience in the capital market and brokerage industry, including eight years with Gordon Capital Corporation. He is currently the President of West Oak Capital Partners Inc., which provides strategic advisory services, including identifying and qualifying merger and acquisition candidates and advising in public transactions. His client base has included financial services, aviation, mining, oil and gas, logistics, and retail industries. Mr. Duncan currently sits on the boards of several private companies and is the President and CEO of Bolero Resources Corp. He has extensive experience advising on corporate takeovers, both friendly and hostile, either by designing and executing effective approaches to acquiring assets or by implementing defensive strategies.


Chuck Jenkins, BA, CGA   

CFO

Mr. Jenkins has broad experience in accounting, banking, securities regulation and corporate finance.  Most recently, he has served as the Chief Financial Officer for a number of Vancouver mining exploration and development companies, such as White Mountain Titanium, Oremex Resources, Aurcana Corporation and Rock Teck Lithium.  Prior to his involvement with public companies he previously worked in corporate finance with brokerage houses in Vancouver and Calgary.
